We bought Odi (a black lab pup) from Nerrida in 2005. I did a lot of research into well bred dogs as my son was only 5 at the time and his wellbeing was on my mind. I had also read enough info to know that good hip and elbow scores were very important for healthy labs. Nerrida provided us with all of Odi's breeding info and included puppy notes on how to care for the dog, training, etc. In 2008 we bought Scooby (a chocolate lab) sight unseen. Nerrida flew him down to us and we fell in love with him instantly. I cannot recommend her enough. Her labs' temperaments are impeccable and are bred with love and affection. Tracey Miller Customer

We are very honoured to be given the opportunity to welcome Honey into our family. In 2009 I had to re-home my beautiful loved Newfoundland as he became very anxious around my Son who has Autism. I was advised by our trainer to look for a mature dog Lab or Golden Retriever. I started our search and was told by quite a few breeders that they wouldn?t put a dog in our care. When I saw Honey was up for adoption I sent Nerrida a long email explaining everything to her. I was Excited to hear Honey had been around another autistic child and was use to the unpredictable behaviour Of such children. Our son and I went for a visit and we both fell in love with her. Honey came home with us a few weeks later; she is a total joy and is very good with my son and any other children that come for a visit. When my son has a meltdown she will sit and wait for him to finish and will then go up for a pat and cuddle. Thank you Nerrida for breeding such a beautiful girl. We are so in love with our new boy Freddo. From the minute we picked him up he has been so beautifully calm and gorgeous in nature. He settled in straight away and it was as if he had always lived with us. Freddo charms everyone he meets (and chases) and has been such joyous addition to our household. Freddo and his sister Ruby our 3.5 year old labradoodle love to play and play. I am the new owner of my beautiful new black male puppy "Jet" who I received as a Christmas present off my husband. Couldn't have had a better present as I absolutely love my new baby. He is just the most beautiful boy and knows his gorgeous face just makes melts me, he can do no wrong - even if he is being naughty!!!!! It was a really difficult task knowing which breeder to go with but once I saw the beautiful labs from Rosebird kennels I had to get in touch. I was very impressed with the information in which Nerrida sent me and knew this was a very professional breeder who knows her stuff and loves her dogs. I just love the style of Labs that Nerrida breeds and once I saw the current litter with the black puppies I knew this was the right decision. Being Christmas time it made it difficult with flights being booked out but Nerrida managed to get my beautiful new baby to me within a week of contacting her. I picked up Toby on the long weekend in June 2011 and could not be happier with him! He is the most lovely dog I have every had. He is always ready to play but is more than happy to just chill out as well. He comes along to horse events so it is very important that he has a lovely temprament just in case a child walking past decides to give him a pat & he just loves kids (even though we dont have any little people at home). I thought i might lose a bit of that excitment of see Toby when i get home from work after I had owned him for a while...... 8 months later i think i am worse! I now cannot imagine life without Toby and all my family and friends think he is just the most lovely dog! Andrea Kidd Miss

Just a quick note to let you know our family are both amazed and delighted to have Truffle join our family. The wait to get a puppy from Rosebird Kennels is worth it. Truffle has the most incredible temperament we have ever come across. He's obedient and get's along so well with our kids - the youngest of which is only just 5 years old. We are very greatfull for the kindness shown to us by Rosebird Kennels. We have a little girl called Charlotte who suffers from a rare form of epilespy that is very hard to control. Rosebird kennels heard about our little girl and donated a black lab called ZOE to us. Zoe will be trained as a response dog for Charlotte's seizures!!
